Seal the Window

This step lends a measure of temporary protection to your car. Use clear packing tape and start applying it vertically strip by strip. Always paste the tape from inside of the car; otherwise, it’ll peel off the paint.

Start by applying one strip vertically on one side of the window, overlapping it with another strip that’s applied in a horizontal direction. Continue doing this until all the pieces overlap another and are successfully covering the entire windowpane.

Using a packing tape instead of a cardboard is a good way to prevent moisture from seeping into your car. Cardboard is an alternative, but it can become wet and gets damaged easily.
