The electricity running through this glass can melt ice. Moreover, it offers a reflective surface that deflects sun rays in the summer; this will reduce the interior temperature by approximately 15°.

You may not have thought that car windshields were a hotbed for research, but recent advancements have proven otherwise. During CES 2019, many people were drawn to the idea of smart car windshields.

A popular demonstration was heads-up displays. This brings up the dash and navigation to the driver’s eye-level, without obstructing their view of the road.
